New members address the club at their induction

The Membership Committee is focused on membership recruitment, engagement and retention of members.

What the Membership Committee does:

  • Develops plans and strategies for recruitment, engagement, and retention of members and works with club members to achieve them
  • Inducts new members
  • Conducts orientation sessions for new members
  • Assigns new members to teams to provide them with information, support, activities, and connections so they “become part of the club”

Target:

  • Prospective members
  • New (newer) members

What you can do:

  • Invite members of the community to join our club
  • Participate in Membership activities, such as Affinity and Meet-up groups
  • Get to know new members
  • Become a New Member Team Guide
  • Bring ideas for ways to bring in new members
  • Help think of ways to get/keep members engaged
  • Be the liaison to the Communications Commitee

When you are accepted for membership and inducted into the club you agree to follow the bylaws of the club. Bi-annual dues of $380 are billed in January and July and payment is expected within 45 days. This obligation continues until you resign in writing. We cannot pro-rate or return dues whether you have attended meetings or not, since these revenues are committed to our expenses and the causes that we support.  A copy of the current bylaws is available here. Rotary Bylaws
