Chris was introduced by Community Award Chair Dieter Mauch who noted that the nomination of Chris for the award was made by four separate Rotarians and certainly a record. On March 7, Jim Leak, pinch hitting for Foundation Chair Dallas Stallings presented Paul Harris awards to Rotarians Brady Surles (Plus 1), Jodee Nimerichter (Plus 2), Shelly Green (Plus 2), Roz Grace (Plus 2), and Barry Curtis (Plus 2).  Andy Esser (Plus 1) and Aubrey Howell (Plus 2) were not in the picture.

An even larger crowd were presented Paul Harris awards on March 14, this time by Dallas.  Left to right are David Ross (Plus 4), BC Dash (Plus 8), Gerry Musante (Plus 3), Dallas Stallings himself (Plus 5), Former Foundation Chair Ken Lundstrom (Plus 5), Robert Stevens (Plus 1), Phail Wynn (Plus 4), Sarah Schroth (Plus 1), Susan Ross (Plus 3), Allen Cronenberg (Plus 3), Melissa Mills (Plus 4), and Meg Solera (Plus 3).

This is an amazing demonstration of generosity to the Rotary Foundation in support of the projects it undertakes in our community and around the world.

His Holiness Pope Francis will celebrate a Jubilee mass at St. Peter’s Square, where we will have 8,000 seats reserved for Rotarians, as well as friends and family.

This Jubilee, as established by Pope Francis, is a commitment to serve with joy and in peace across the world.

International Projects

VandanaPuneProjectIn 2016 the International Committee as committed to share more about the projects we have engaged in in conjunction with other Rotary Clubs in the District and in areas such as Pune, India where 200 toilets were constructed through the Rotary Foundation.

On Monday, Past President Vandana Dake used a PowerPoint to update information about the project and introduced again her father Narendra Sethi who is visiting from Pune. Below is a link to a pdf version of the PowerPoint with a number of pictures taken of the project.
